He is survived by : his wife Cloria Wilson Stroupe; his children, Kimberly Stroupe Congdon (Greg) of Fletcher and Paul Douglas Stroupe II (Stephanie) of Brasstown; his grandchildren, Cory Stroupe and Ashlyn Stroupe; his brother Ted Stroupe of Alexander; and his caregivers, Janice and Cindy. Visitation will be held Tuesday, December 27, 2022 from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Road Zion, IL, 60099. Paul was preceded in death by his special friend, Joyce Warmuth; his parents; and one sister, Jeanne McCluskey. Interment will be in the church cemetery. He attended Moody Bible Institute majoring in music, later serving in music ministry and as a deacon, most recently at Meadowridge SBC in Zion, IL.
